2022 in Review

2022 was a year of growth for Proscenium! We won awards, started new projects, finished projects, celebrated our 25 year anniversary and held fundraisers for some great charities. Our staff team expanded and returned to the office. Business is officially back in full swing and we can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store!

AWARDS

MEC Vancouver Store won the 2022 SabMag Green Building Award

240 West 6th won the City of North Vancouver Heritage Award (Residential Conservation)

9 PROJECTS COMPLETED

We completed 9 great projects including UBC MacLeod Renewal, Chard Office, Private Lounge and Eliza Presentation Centre.

STARTED 24 NEW PROJECTS

We started 24 fabulous new projects including Ballet BC Granville Island, UBC Jack Bell Renewal, BCIT SW1 Renewal Study and the Massey Theatre Renewal.

ANNIVERSARY

We celebrated 25 years of Proscenium and published Our Story.

FUNDRAISERS

We held four fundraisers for charities that are doing amazing work — WISH Drop in Centre, Rainbow Refugee, Working Gear and UNYA.

INSIGHTS

We published a number of special PAI Blogs: on Incorporating Theatres into New Developments, UBC MacLeod: Inside the Envelope, and Langara Bioinformatics Lab Q&A.

We launched our new website, thanks to Amplitude Multimedia for their great work!
