Barbara Svarc joined Proscenium in August 2023 as a Junior Interior Designer. Barbara completed her Bachelor of Interior Design at BCIT, during which time she spent a semester abroad at HAWK located in Hildesheim, Germany which broadened her design knowledge and perspective.
So far at Proscenium, Barbara has focused mainly on a multifamily residential project on Vancouver Island and a theatre project in Vancouver that is part of a new residential development—for which she is involved in programming and user group meetings. Prior to joining PAI, she spent two years working for a tile and vinyl production company where she worked closely with clients on their personal projects and assisted with product selection, giving her an extensive knowledge of tile and vinyl products that supports her work now.
Barbara draws inspiration from the natural environment and in her spare time, she enjoys creating collages, working on small ceramic sculptures and sketching.
