Where were you born?
Tehran, Iran.
How did you get into architecture?
I always liked playing the Sims since I was 8 or 9 years old! I would spend hours building houses and the environment and then when I got to the actual game, I would get tired and stop! So, I guess that’s where it all started.
What class in school has proven to be the least useful?
I would say the grasshopper course just because it’s not always practical. But I would take it up again because such a cool way of experimenting with design!
What is the best building of all time?
Sagrada Familia is by far the most extraordinary building I have seen in my life to date. So many intricate details, so much creativity, so many stories!
Your favourite restaurant in Vancouver is…
There’s a small Southern BBQ downtown called Memphis Blues BBQ. If you like ribs (or meat in general) you should check this place out.
You never leave home without…
My headphones! There is always music or podcast playing on my phone.
Your Great Escape would be to…
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in California! But more generally, I would also say I’d like to visit Barcelona and Vienna one more time!
What single piece of technology makes your life easier?
Excel! My life depends on it!
If you were an animal what animal would you be?
Not sure but I have been compared to Koalas! :D
What word do you have trouble saying?
For some reason every time I want to say Warranty, I have to really think about it to get it right!
