Stanley Theatre Accessibility Upgrade

Proscenium is leading a vital accessibility upgrade for the Stanley Theatre, a treasured and well-used event space in Vancouver. The project will make the building more inclusive and welcoming by upgrading the washrooms, adding a vertical lift to provide access to all three levels, and improving lighting and signage.

Our firm is proud to have been involved with the Stanley for nearly three decades. In 1998, we carried out a major renovation that transformed the abandoned 1930s-built vaudeville theatre into a versatile arts venue. Learn more about that initial project here.
