Lower Lonsdale Cultural Facilities Master Plan

Proscenium worked with the City of North Vancouver to develop a comprehensive master plan of the arts community in the neighbourhood of Lower Lonsdale in 2009. The study focused on the cultural mapping of existing infrastructure and assessing the needs of the current tenants of the Presentation House Theatre, Presentation House Gallery and North Vancouver Museum. It evaluated the capacity of their existing sites to meet these needs; looked for options for relocation in Central and Lower Lonsdale; and developed a timeline for implementation. The study became a key driving factor in the City’s future projects, two of which have been realized at the relocation sites identified.
