Birks Richard Mille

Proscenium is working with Aedifica as local Architect and Production Drawing Assist for a new project for Maison Birks at 698 Hastings Street, Vancouver.

The program consists of a luxurious retail space including a sales floor, open and enclosed sales areas, office/safe room, storage, and interconnected feature stair to the second level where there is a boardroom, coffee bar and VIP lounge. Proscenium developed the design of the feature stair with the exposed/transparent design of the Richard Mille watch in mind, using floating aesthetics and industrial-inspired cables. High quality finishes reflect the caliber of the merchandise.

The project is a truly international collaboration that includes a client representative in France, Birks and Aedifica in Montreal, Viridis (the brand designer) in Connecticut and Proscenium as the local in Vancouver.
