Architect AIBC, MRAIC, LEED AP
Peter Carter is a Senior Associate at Proscenium. He joined the firm in 2017 with more than 13 years of architectural experience. Peter has worked on a wide range of projects in BC and Ontario, from office towers to sports and entertainment facilities to institutional work. He holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Toronto and a degree in fine arts with a minor in physics from UBC. This balance of creativity and practicality informs his work.
A characteristic of architecture that has been true, and intriguing, in many of Peter’s projects is that often the most difficult constraints produce the most interesting results. This is an aspect of his practice that Peter greatly enjoys, and some of his best work can be found on projects with obstacles to overcome. Peter is currently Project Architect for several mixed use projects including 750 SW Marine Drive and a three-building development in Victoria. He was also Project Architect for the Yukon, a recently completed four-storey industrial and office building in Mount Pleasant.
